I have over 15 years of professional experience working with and training dogs in the K9 sector. Dogs have been a major part of my professional life, and I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, routine, and training needs.

When your dog is in my care, my priority is to provide a safe, comfortable, structured, and positive environment. I treat every dog with the same attention and care I would expect for my own.

Boarding & Day Care

Dogs staying with me receive regular exercise, playtime, rest periods, feeding according to the owner’s instructions, and plenty of individual attention. I keep the number of dogs in my care limited so that I can properly supervise them and give each dog the attention it deserves.

Safety is extremely important to me. Dogs are supervised carefully, and I do not introduce unfamiliar dogs together without first considering their temperament, behaviour, size, and compatibility. Feeding, exercise, and rest can also be managed separately when necessary.

Owners are welcome to discuss their dog’s normal routine with me before the stay, including feeding schedules, allergies, behaviour, special requirements, and anything that helps their dog feel comfortable.

If your dog requires medication, please provide clear written instructions. I am happy to follow the dog’s normal medication routine where I am comfortable and able to do so safely.

I also understand how important it is to know that your dog is doing well while you are away. I can provide regular photo, video, and message updates during your dog’s stay, and you are always welcome to ask how your dog is doing.

Training During Their Stay

Because of my professional K9 training background, I am happy to work on basic obedience and good everyday behaviour while your dog is with me. This can include commands such as sit, down, stay, recall, leash manners, focus, and other appropriate exercises depending on the individual dog.

If you have something specific you would like your dog to practice during their stay, please let me know when booking. Where appropriate, I will be happy to work on it at no additional charge.

Dog Walking

Walks are a minimum of 30 minutes, with the duration and intensity adjusted according to the dog’s age, breed, health, fitness, temperament, and energy level. Active dogs can receive longer exercise when appropriate. My goal is not simply to walk your dog for a set amount of time, but to make sure the exercise is suitable and enjoyable for them.

Pet Sitting

I understand that some dogs are happiest staying in their own familiar environment. I am flexible with pet-sitting arrangements and will do my best to maintain your dog’s normal feeding, walking, exercise, and daily routine according to your instructions.

Before any service, I am happy to discuss your dog’s temperament, routine, training, behaviour, and individual needs. For boarding, you are also welcome to see where your dog will be staying beforehand.

With my professional K9 background, you are leaving your dog with someone who has spent many years understanding canine behaviour, handling, training, and care. Whether your dog is staying for a day, overnight, going for a walk, or simply needs someone dependable while you are away, my goal is for you to feel confident and for your dog to return home safe, comfortable, exercised, and happy.

One change I especially recommend: don’t promise that every dog will “learn new tricks and commands.” Instead, say you’re happy to work on appropriate training during the stay. That sounds more professional and avoids promising results you can’t guarantee with every dog.
