I am a cat mom to 2 special cats living in Riverdale. I am excited to meet other pet owners who want to trade off in care, I am passionate about cats and have lived with cats all my life! I am currently living with Chewbacca, an older rescue and Bowie the new kid on the scene. They do get along but can have some tense energy sometimes.

I am an Artist and work from home generally, so this means I am available for home visits during the day, I have cared for dogs as well and feel comfortable with most small to medium sized dogs. I actually kind of hope to be able to find some neighbours.

I expect for dog walking visits might be about a half hour, to pick up, do a circuit and to return giving water treats and any tidy up. A visit for a cat may take up to 45 minutes, to clean up the litter, feed and water, and then to give some human contact if desired.

I don’t drive and so my transit breadth is limited in that way. I would say I feel comfortable traveling most places in the central Toronto area (downtown-east mainly) where most transit can get me within reason, take

my limitation into consideration, please.

I would say a large part of my motivation to connect with other pet caregivers is due to the fact that my cats require some special attention, Chewbacca takes some stool softeners and bowie takes an oral supplement to help treat a chronic respiratory issue. Both are in otherwise good health, neutered and are vaccinated. The medications aren’t complicated but should be administered daily. I have been travelling some lately and have hated returning from trips where my cat is mad and constipated from eating too much dry food! I don’t want that for him, I wouldn’t want that for anyone - so I would certainly feed and water your friends to the best of my ability, and hope that you would do the same for us, in kind.
