Good care and a fun time are what my partner and I can guarantee for your pet! If your fur babies like a day out at the park or they love the outdoors, we live in Rockliffe which is the most dog-friendly neighbourhood in Ottawa! We also frequently take pets out on small hikes to explore the nearby parks if their parents are up for it and want their pets to have a vacation as well 

As a perk - you can put in a special request for some A+ photos as well of your pets as both of us have a knack for photography  

Your pet stays in a home, free to roam and explore, rather than in the confines of a 3-foot cage typical in kennels or pet hotels. 

Grooming, Feeding, Cooking, Walking, Basic Training, Playing and administering basic medication - these are things I pride myself on being good with our four-legged friends. My experience stems from raising 15 dogs myself back in my home country, which includes 8 German Shepherds and 2 Pomeranians apart from the others. I have also adopted 5 other dogs who I have cared for since they were puppies as well. I'd like to say, I know the habits of quite a varied range of breeds.

My partner and I have flexible work-from-home jobs, so depending on if we have rover pets over we work from home or head to the office. We prefer to be home and not leave your pets at home alone in a new environment even if it is just for a bit, as we know how stressful it can be. We’d only accept a booking if we can be present throughout their stay 
Although have not professionally before - I am looking to pursue professional experience in dog training, grooming and care as a new career choice and this would be a stepping stone into it.&nbsp;

We live in Rockliffe - the most dog-friendly neighbourhood in Ottawa! With many parks and two off-leash fenced parks as well in the area, there is no shortage of fun walks or socializing opportunities for your pet depending on their personality! We live in an apartment but have built the space in our home to keep it open concept and have a nice big ( safely fenced ) balcony as well, where a lot of our pet guests loved lazing in amongst our many many pet-safe plants 

Our apartment has easily and comfortably accommodated 2 dogs, and we would not board more than 2 at a time for their comfort. Giving your pet much-deserved attention while you are away is our priority.

We are very active folks so your pets are guaranteed walks/visits to parks depending on their energy levels and social skills.

What information is important to know about your pet ahead of time?

1) How social is your dog? Do they get along with other dogs and cats?
2) Any specific feeding instructions?
3) Is your pet comfortable at home alone for small stretches of time? If so, for how long?
4) What is your dog's idea of good fun - out in the park, playing fetch, or any specific trick/game?
5) Any barking, Chewing habits or resource guarding?
6) Any reactiveness or aggressiveness towards other dogs?
7) Is your pet fully vaccinated?
8) Free from diseases ( Kennel cough, Fleas, Parasites, etc)
9) Is your pet Spayed/neutered? 




Good day!  My name is Chantal and I would love to help you care for your pets in any way that suits your needs.  As an animal lover, I have been spent my life surrounded by animals.  My husband and I provided a foster home to cats and dogs in need for several years.  We currently have 2 dogs, 1 cat and 3 fish (on top of the 3 kids :P).
Over the years we have also had the pleasure of rescuing a rabbit and 3 rats.  We have raised our children to love and respect animals and we continue to try and help our community when we can.&nbsp;&nbsp;
As an animal owner, I understand how important it is to have someone reliable care for your pets so that you can have peace of mind.  I am available for home visits, pet sitting in my home, dog walking as well as other needs.
For dog walking/in-home visits I am available mornings and afternoons.  Other times can be negotiated upon request. Walks and home visits generally last about 30 to 45 minutes.  I am happy to bring in your mail, water your plants and any other required tasks.&nbsp;&nbsp;
If chosing to have your pet board with us or for doggy day care, know that there will be lots of love and cuddles coming their way!  My kids are 8, 11 and 14 years old and love to help with all animals!  Your animals will be free to roam if that's what you prefer.  In the event that animals aren't getting along there are several rooms with doors and windows where we can find a comfortable location for all animals! On top of the dog park a short walk away,  we also have a large fully fenced back yard where your dogs can play and stretch.  We do 2 half hour walks a day and lots of playtime throughout the day.  I am able to administer medication if needed. Our 2 dogs are a yorkie and a border collie mix.  The yorkie is older and keeps to herself while the collie is very playful and loves having dog friends around! Our cat Chai likes his space spends most of his day in my daughter's room. We are home most of the time, with the exception of an hour some evenings for kids activities. And, of course, I'd be happy to send as many pics as you'd like to keep you updated!&nbsp;

Hi there, We're Maha (29) and Nick (32). We've been dog sitting for the past 5 years for family and friends, and this year we'd love to have more guests! We both work from home (as federal public servants) and have no kids, so rest assured your buddies will always have our attention. We can't wait to get a dog of our own some day, so please help us get all the experience we need ☻.
Recently we've dog sat a shepard-poodle, a doodle, two german shepards, a cockapoo, a pug and a yorkie. All these doggos stayed the night at our place. Some liked to sleep in our bed with us, while others we set up a lil bed for or got them comfy in their crate!
Growing up, Nick had two mini schnauzers and Maha had many cats. Maha's parents still have her indoor-only turkish van (long hair). 
Our backyard is fully fenced-in, but we always supervise out there anyways. We make sure to shovel it too so the doggos are comfy out there! We both have cars and can pick up or drop off your doggos, if needed. We live really close to Bayshore mall. Our neighbourhood is definitely pet-friendly, there is a medium-sized dog park in walking distance and we're a short trip to Bruce pit. 
For home visits, we'll stay for as long as you request... and yes we can shovel your driveway, bring in the mail or water the plants. Depending on the size of your dog we can go from a 15 min - 1 hour long walk with them. We can go anywhere you suggest or we'll find a dog-friendly trail. For doggy daycare and boarding we're usually available 24/7. For dog walking or home visits we're available on weekends and from 5pm on weekdays. Nick has experience administering medication to dogs and Maha has experience administering medication to cats.
We will give your pup or kitty the paw-fect experience!

Since I was young, dogs have been a big part of my life. I'm a dogs person and will always be. I find true connection with them. I even trained my last dog by myself.&nbsp;
Pets are a really important part of my family, I own a 3-year-old golden retriever back home, he is the sweetest and most faithful dog I have ever had, he is big and strong, loves to play and climb on all the furniture. It has been very difficult to be far away from him, that's why I want to take care of your dog, i can take care of them as i they were mine, they give me a lot of happiness.&nbsp;
I'm currently a university student, so i'll have plenty of time to take care of your dog. I'm available for pet sitting, doggy day care, dog walking, house sitting, drop-in visits during weekdays and weekends.

I'm currently living in an apartment, next to a big park, so it won't be a problem to walk them and let them play. I allow pets in furniture and I will do anything for them to be as comfy as possible!
