 Re: The passing of my companion dog. In her review, Lorie mentions my wonderful companion dog, Augie. My Sweetest Boy is no longer with us so I will be pet sitting from now on without any companion pets of my own. PIP (Play in Peace) Little One❤️  

 Re: My Pawshake Calendar & Verification ID. Althought most of this site is easy to navigate, I've yet to figure out how to easily change Pawshake's calendar when client's dates change, so forgive me for forgoing it altogether! Feel free to send an inquiry about my availabilty, OR alternatively, you can check my calendar on k9nanny.ca as I can easily keep it current - You will also see client testimonials and more details. 

I've also attempted Pawshake's Verification ID process on this site several times without success. If you'd like additional peace of mind, I can send you my Criminal Record Check upon request.  

Re: Multiple Pets or Special Needs. Should you have multiple pets, and if they need insulin shots or medication at specific times per day, we will discuss how that will change my rate when we chat. 🐾 

A Little About Me 

Caring for homes and animals has always come naturally to me. I grew up
surrounded by furry and feathered friends, was mowing ¼ acre before I was 4
feet tall, and my very first job was house cleaning. Most of my career was
in high-end Hearth & Home products and Home Staging — except for the
years I followed friends’ advice and became a Certified Dog Trainer!  

I’m now retired from dog training and involved some years in Natural
Health Products for People, Pets, and Homes, which I mostly do remotely
online. That means I can be home with your pets except for a
couple of 5 hour shifts per week in my Vitamin Department. 

Over my lifetime, I’ve shared my heart and my homes with 15 dogs, 9 cats, and a variety of other wonderful critters. I've ‘chaperoned’ dozens more dogs as a trainer and sitter as well. This lifelong experience allows me to confidently care for your precious companions and your property. With exception of serious veterinary care, I am proficient administering health supplements or meds and inuslin injections, I know how to deal with seizures and the method for stopping canine vertigo - A MASSIVE RELIEF for your dog.  

I have some overuse injury of my wrists so I'm unable to take on large reactive dogs anymore. I have experience with many pet species and livestock
as well. I’m happy to discuss any needs for critters I might not be familiar with. 

I keep an up-to-date Criminal Record Check - Something that was originally
mandatory when I was hosting international students in my home, and now keep updated for peace of mind in my home-sitting
work. 

Before you travel, I like to schedule a Meet & Greet,
and if you have dogs, ideally a pack walk so they can
naturally welcome me into their circle before you go. My goal is for both you
and your pets to feel confident and at ease knowing everything’s in caring
and very experienced hands. 

I will provide a list of my repeat clients who are happy to speak
with you about their experiences with me — several have booked me 8 to
11 times over the past 33 months. (I’ve also house-sat for long-time
friends, caring for their children, pets, and livestock over more than 4
decades.) 

While you’re away, I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes,
or we can connect through Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp so
you can see your pets happy at home.
