Hi, my name is Maren, and I’m a 31‑year‑old Norwegian currently moving in to Calgary. I offer reliable and attentive pet sitting and house sitting for owners who want their animals and home cared for with consistency, respect, and genuine interest.

I have raised my own dog and am very comfortable with daily pet routines, including feeding, long walks, basic training habits, hygiene, playtime, and recognizing when an animal needs extra attention. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and adapt easily to different temperaments, energy levels, and care instructions.

Regarding my own dog: She is currently 7 years old is living with my parents having a comfortable life there. I have since the begining been focused on letting her have lots of nature and mountain walks and trained her propperly in order to go unleashed in the nature with her. She is never out of eyesigth when we walk in the mountains. Regarding food i also always had a focus on adding healthy food like vegetables and berried to nurture her well. I trained her also on her sleeping cage (door always open) from i got her in order for her to have a safe place she can go to when she wants peace where no one is allowed to bother her and try to drag her out. I listen to her needs and often have calm mornings just petting her in the couch as a start of the day.

I have lived independently since high school and am fully used to managing a home. Cleanliness, structure, and responsibility are part of my daily life. I am comfortable with apartment and house care, light cleaning, plant care, mail collection, and keeping a property orderly and secure. I also enjoy cooking and maintaining a calm, tidy living environment.

Professionally, I come from a finance background and previously worked in Paris. This has shaped a strong sense of reliability, punctuality, and clear communication, qualities I apply directly to pet sitting. I take instructions seriously and keep owners updated so they can travel with peace of mind.

I am physically active, go to the gym regularly, and enjoy hiking and the outdoors, which makes me well suited for active dogs and longer walks. I am a non‑smoker, calm, and respectful of both animals and property.
