🌎 Born at the Royal Colombian Hospital in New Westminster, BC but raised in Calgary, AB, and after taking all the psych, philosophy, English/poetry, Math, & linguistics courses at Mount Royal College, I became a professional student! So, at 22 I moved to BC and was involved in the hospitality industry as a bartender/server (manager & music bingo host) for 14 years before finding out I’m amazing as an Administrative Assistant for a family run label/sticker company, but alas I was still missing my passion. My soul sister in Calgary reminded me of my gift with animals and the urge to want to help people, so my adventure back to Alberta started in 2018…. 😻 I have been surrounded by animals since I was born! From cats to dogs to snakes and geckos to bunnies and budgies to chinchillas and cockatiels to fish and frogs to hamsters and ferrets. I just love to help pets and their parents! 🎓 In 2018 I was accepted into the Veterinary Medical Receptionist program at Olds College in Olds, AB and graduated with Distinction👏 It then, catapulted me into the AHT condensed 2-year program where I graduated with honours 👏 and passed the VTNE (national exam) Good Friday Apr. 2022—it was a GREAT Friday 🥳 Feel free to verify my credentials on the ABVMA website, where I’m licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technologist (Donnelly) 🩺 Most of my experience as an RVT is within general practices where I gained skills in LOW-STRESS handling for procedures such as : 🌀 ANAL GLAND EXPRESSIONS 🌀 WOUND CLEANING/BANDAGING 🌀 NUTRITION 🌀 MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION (oral, TM, IV, IM, subQ, & topically) 🌀 BUNNY BONDING ✂️ I’ve performed many NAIL TRIMS on: 🐱cats 🐶dogs 🐰rabbits 🤍🩵💚 I continue to volunteer with the Canadian Animal Task Force and have been with them since May 2019. 💛 Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me! 📞 Please don’t hesitate to reach out for an affordable, detailed estimate of services specific to you and your pets' needs or if you have any questions! 🦮FLEXIBLE PET WALKING TIMES Afternoons☀️ & Evenings🌙 🚗NOTE: Travel expenses will be added to the cost of anywhere over 5 km from home after communication/meet & greet 🐾🤍 I hope you have a PAWsome day!
