Hi, I'm Dana and I'd like to take care of your beautiful home and your precious cat(s) while you're gone! I'm also available for 1 or 2 drop-ins per day, if that's your preference.

About my services:

I'll take such great care of your cat, they might not even realize you're gone. I've been around cats all my life and I know how to look after them very well.

I'm happy to give attention when wanted and to leave them be when they're not in the mood. I understand the importance of play time just as much as I understand the importance of chin-scratching and cuddle time. I have learned a lot about cat behaviour & body language over the years, and consider myself a bit of an expert in that department.

For house-sitting services: aside from running errands or meeting a friend for coffee, I will be in your home with kitty. They will never get the chance to be lonely! I'm very neat and tidy and will treat your home as if it is my own. I'm happy to check the mail, water plants, and whatever else you'd like me to do while you're away. I'll provide daily updates & pictures. You can be sure both your cat & your home are in good hands when I'm around.

Drop-ins: we can discuss the time(s) of day that are best for you and I will work my personal schedule around that. I tailor the style of care based on individual needs. Every situation is so different and I will go over your particular schedules and routines during our free meet & greet. I am very adaptable and have a great attention to detail, so anything you throw at me, I will handle with ease. I’ll provide a written update and a picture at the end of each drop-in.

I grew up in Winnipeg and moved to Vancouver about 15 years ago. I'm a free-spirited, easygoing person who likes alone time just as much as spending time with friends. Speaking of friends, if you asked them to describe me, they’d probably say: "she’s independent, friendly, easy to get along with and a bit of a homebody. Basically she's a cat" This might explain why cats are quite drawn to me!

I'm available for an optional phone or video chat. Or we can just go ahead and book a free meet & greet where I'll come visit your home to meet your cat, get a tour of the house and answer any quetsions you may have. That way we can all be sure I'm a good fit before committing to anything. I look forward to hearing from you!
