"Marianne was great. I was really nervous handing over my home and pet to a complete stranger, as this was the first time I've used a pet sitter. She didn't hesitate to provide her ID so I could do a Google and get an idea of who she was. Everything she told me in the meet & greet aligned, which put my mind at east.
She came and picked up the keys, then dropped them off after I was home, making the entire process really easy. Reports were sent through the Pawshake app when she visited, so I was confident my cat was in good hands and being taken care of. I came home to my house in the same condition I left it, and my cat was healthy and fed. Marianne also monitored the litter box, adjusting the food as necessary (dealing with a minor constipation issue).
All in all an excellent experience, and I would recommend Marianne to anyone as a cat sitter."

"Mirielle is an exceptional cat-sitter, on so many levels!
Our 2 cats had never been left alone for any length of time. As such, we needed a cat-sitter who not only loved but *understood* cats to take care of them.
Mirielle's love and understanding of cats was evident from the very beginning. She was also very reliable and trustworthy, and was a pleasure to talk to and work with.
She visited our home twice per day and took care of all of our cats needs, including going 'above-and-beyond' to interact with them and make sure they were OK. She also sent us updates after every visit, along with frequent pictures to keep our mind at ease.
The peace of mind we enjoyed from having Mirielle look after our cats was priceless. I highly recommend Mirielle to any North Shore cat owners who are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, and trustworthy fellow cat-lover to look after their cats while they are away!"

"Melissa was a fantastic cat sitter for my two male Ragdolls while I was away for a week! Her communication was outstanding, the best I’ve experienced so far, and she sent lots of videos and photos of the cats during each visit (twice a day). I loved seeing the videos especially because I could see their behaviors and felt connected to them, and I could see they were extremely comfortable with Melissa which eased my stress of being away from them, I was truly able to relax knowing they were in good hands. Melissa was able to administer one of the cats oral liquid medication each morning without any problems which was a huge relief as well. Lastly, I loved how personable Melissa was with our communication, I felt like I was talking to a friend when she was updating me. I will hands down be booking with Melissa again for future trips!! 😻 "

"Where do I even begin? I have had quite a few pet sitters from Pawshake both in Berlin and Vancouver but no one compares to Daniela. She is super warm and friendly and communication with her was a breeze. She respected all our wishes and sent us cute gifs and videos of our cat twice a day and even did a nice drawing of our cat. She really cares about animals and my cat looked so relaxed and happy and well cared for in all the videos which is always reassuring when you leave your fur babies. Most importantly: our cat was in a great mental space when we came back and that's more than I could ever ask for. Thank you Daniela and can't wait to have you take care of Fellini again!"

"Francesca took wonderful care of our cats! Gracie and Lilah both warmed up to Francesca, despite being shy cats, which was a relief for us while we were away. We received lots of updates and photos and Francesca was super communicative. It’s obvious she is passionate and genuinely cares for the cats. "Maria is an amazing cat sitter. My partner and I finally were able to leave for a vacation since COVID happened, and Maria was extremely understanding and made everything happen smoothly. Maria took care of our 3 cats very well as per our instructions. The daily visits with picture updates were great, and she even went above and beyond to ensure the mess and clutter left from the cat litter was cleaned up. "It was our first time using a pet sitter and cannot recommend Claudia enough. She was very quick to respond to messages and enquires before we even booked. She went and above in looking after my cat who is very timid and apprehensive with new people but she knew exactly what do to and Maximus warmed up to her in no time. Whilst we were away she visited our cat and took photos and videos to reassure us which was really helpful. When we came back home our cat was well groomed, in perfect shape and litter was clean. I’m very grateful to have found a lovely, caring pet sitter and will be using her again in the future. "

"Kristen looked after our two siamese cats. They're fairly fussy, and our boy is a bit skittish. However, by the second day Kristen sent us photos of him sitting on her chest looking for cuddles. I trust my cats' instincts, and they were super comfortable with Kristen. She gave us incredibly detailed updates, which we truly appreciated. We'd recommend Kristen to anyone. "
