Experienced Dog Daycare Handler & Pet Sitter in Vancouver

Hi! I’m Sofia, co-founder of The Wet Nose Club and an experienced dog daycare handler with over 3 years of professional experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities.

I currently work at a dog daycare in Vancouver and previously worked as a senior daycare attendant, so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic and social dogs to pups who need a little more patience, structure, or individual attention.

Through The Wet Nose Club, David and I offer dog walking, house sitting, boarding, drop-ins, and personalized pet care. We keep our availability limited so we can give each pet the attention they deserve rather than taking on too many bookings at once.

Walks are available for 30, 45, or 60 minutes and are adapted to each dog’s energy level and usual routine. For sitting and boarding, we follow your pet’s regular schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and rest, with supervision based on their individual needs.

I’m comfortable administering oral medications (pills or liquids), topical treatments, and eye/ear medications when clear instructions are provided. Pets needing more complex medical care or extra supervision can be discussed beforehand to make sure we can safely accommodate them.

Most importantly, I want owners to feel comfortable knowing their pet is with someone who genuinely understands animal care and behaviour. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can stay connected with your pet while they’re in our care.

We currently serve areas around Downtown Vancouver, Commercial Drive, Joyce–Collingwood and nearby areas, with availability depending on the service.

Feel free to reach out and tell me a little about your pet and what kind of care you’re looking for!
