My husband and I are an international couple who love to travel. We love dogs and pretty much any furr-baby! We both work flexible hours from home, just need our laptops to do so. Perfect for pet and house sitting opportunities, right? I also really love dog walking as it forces me away from the desk every now and again!

We currently live in downtown Toronto in the St. Lawrence Market area between the market and the Distillery.

About me: Home is New Zealand where I usually spend 4-5 months a year. I am in my early 40s and have worked in travel and tourism my entire professional life. I recently became a Canadian resident. Fun fact, I'm also a Zumba instructor. :-)

About my hubby Mike: Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Mike has worked in IT most of his professional career. He's also a professional jazz trumpeter with his own band, touring the world regularly. We met in 2006 in New Zealand while Mike was on a big overseas trip. I will be dog walking / pet sitting mostly on my own. I'm just mentioning my husband in the profile for context of how I ended up here in Toroto ;-)

Our lifestyle does not allow us to own pets of our own but we LOVE furry friends - especially dogs.

Having recently moved back to Toronto and realizing that there is a need for dog walkers and pet sitters, I thought it would be a great opportunity for me to make some new furry (and human) friends if I offer my services.

I have many years of experience as dog walker, house & pet sitter - in New ZEaland, the USA and also here in Toronto. Mike grew up with dogs in his family. We are both very respectful and tidy. We don't smoke, don't party, don't have kids. We also don't have messy hobbies. We're quiet, just working during the day usually and we love exploring new areas - especially on weekends. We also love food and coffee!

What I offer:

- I offer to care for your pet(s) in your own home and am happy to look after small tasks around the home - like emptying the mailbox or putting bins out on the street on rubbish collection days.
- I offer home visits / walks starting at 30 minutes - which can includes feeding, cleaning litter box and spending time with your fur babies - hugs and cuddles are always included!
- I am also happy to walk your dog(s) - maximum of two doogs at a time.

My rate for house sitting is negotiable based on how many pets there are to look after, their requirements and how many hours per day you require me to be present. The $95 rate includes up to two dogs with flexibility for me to still attend appointments / go to the gym / go out for dinners.

My dog walking / home visit service is limited to Downtown Toronto - preferrably St. Lawrence Market, Distillery, Corktown and surrounding neighbourhoods. I do not have access to a car (I do have a licence though - if you needed me to drive your pet somewhere with your own car, I can do that). For house sitting I am happy to travel a distance within the GTA and even further - just ask.

Cancellation: Full refund if cancelled up to 7 days prior to the confirmed service date. 50% if cancelled up to 24 hours prior of the confirmed service date and 100% cancellation fee if cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
