I am a caring, patient, and responsible animal lover currently finishing my Bachelor’s degree at OCAD University in Canada. I truly enjoy working as a pet sitter and dog walker because being around animals makes me genuinely happy, and I love creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for them while their owners are away.

Back home, I helped care for 3 German Shepherds and a Yorkshire Terrier, and I also worked as a dog walker for people in my neighborhood. Over time, my family also adopted cats, which gave me experience understanding different personalities, routines, and care needs. Currently, I care for my own cat and poodle here in Canada.

I usually provide walks between 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on each pet’s age, energy level, and needs. I enjoy taking dogs on walks to nearby parks or dog parks so they can safely exercise, socialize, explore, and enjoy outdoor time. My care routine includes feeding on schedule, refreshing water, playtime, cleaning litter or pet areas, and making sure pets feel comfortable, relaxed, and emotionally cared for. I am also comfortable managing multiple pets at once by keeping organized routines, supervising interactions carefully, and making sure every animal receives individual attention and care.

When meeting a pet for the first time, I like to approach them calmly and patiently so they can feel safe and build trust at their own pace. I pay close attention to their body language, personality, and comfort level to create a positive first impression and make them feel relaxed around me. When entering a client’s home to pick up or care for a pet, I always respect the owner’s instructions carefully, make sure doors and gates are secure, and keep the environment calm and organized to ensure the pet’s safety and comfort at all times.

I have experience following medication instructions and caring for pets with special routines or extra needs, always paying close attention to details and the owner’s instructions. Safety is extremely important to me, so I stay attentive during walks and visits, keep pets securely handled, and remain calm and responsive in emergency situations. I also love keeping owners updated and would happily send regular photo and video updates so they can feel reassured and connected with their pets while away.

My availability is mainly on weekends, as well as Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and I am flexible depending on the pet’s needs and schedule.
