Hi! I'm Tenille. I'm new to Calgary (South African) but I just LOVE dogs and I've spent years fostering and helping injured shelter dogs - from walking rehab (Sweetie, an Afrikaanis breed native to South Africa) to adopting a beautiful senior pitbull/ lab mix (Happy). She LOVED my hubby so I have lots of pics of them together. 
 I lived in YMM for a year and we raised a 9 week old husky pup (Willow) until she was good and ready to be permanently homed. 
We love to go on adventures and stay at beautiful airbnbs and I always seek out the resident dog. It's become a bit of a habit in our household. If we are visiting friends, we end up seated on the floor with their dogs. It's just our way. 
I have been through all the puppy training, I have had lazy dogs, energetic dogs and I love all ages and abilities. my husband (Jared) is also very well versed with shelter dogs and even professional security dogs (a German Shepard named Jamie). He has worked animal Rescue with more aggressive cases where other handlers were unable.&nbsp;
we do not currently have any pets As we have just arrived, so I will treat your paw child as my own.&nbsp;We are planning on eventually getting a golden retriever but that is big for several months. 
I can offer 30-40 min walks along the Bow River, or any parks that you prefer for your pupper. As I'm new to this part of Alberta , I'm very much open to suggestions and your preferences. If you have a less social dog I can keep dog walks individual - please do not hesitate to let me know your doggie's needs. I typically only do one midday walk per week day in winter and a late morning one in summer months. 
As we have a dog run on our property, I have options for more social doggies who want to play and make friends. 
I am perfectly capable of administering oral medications. My old girl Happy was very sick before she passed so I am familiar with ear medications, oral and deworming meds. 
If you have a young pup, I specialize in teaching basic commands (sit, paw, stay) with positive reinforcement and treats. Pre-approved treats of course. I fully believe in happy but disciplined dogs, for basic respect of their owners. 
If you are enquiring about dog sitting, I really can give all animals my undivided attention as this is my job. Besides a quick run to the store, I am there for cuddles, playtime and company for your fur child. 
I am currently studying canine vital signs and wound care to add to my skill set.&nbsp;
Currently we stay in NW Calgary in a pet friendly apartment. We have a dog run on the property as well as dog parks surrounding us. We are a 5 min drive to Edworthy park and a lovely walk along the bow river. I CAN pet sit if you are needing it as long as you're comfortable with an apartment setting. We will always treat dogs as our kids, it's just the way we are. 
My husband is away often for work but when he is around he loves to help out with ANYTHING dog related.

Howdy! My name is Vanessa, I moved to Calgary in May 2022. I love the mountains, road trips, camping&nbsp; and outdoor activies. I live in Bankview with my boyfriend and our senior citizen dog. Her name is Lili, she's a 14 years old chihuahua-daschund. I have always loved animals and have had a few growing up, cats, hamster, rabbit and dogs.
Me and my boyfriend started cat sitting our neighbor's adorable 3 cats. We loved going there to feed them, play with them, hangout for a bit and clean their litter boxes. She moved away and we miss hanging out with the cats and taking care of them! That's why I decided to become a pet sitter with Pawshake. I&nbsp;have taken care of numerous pets for friends and family over the years.
I currently offer cat sitting with visits available once a day. Services include refilling and cleaning food/water dishes, cleaning litter box, brushing them and playing with them. I will also send photos so you know your fur babies are well.
I'm also available to walk your small-medium dog for 30 minutes.
I would prefer if you're located within inner city,&nbsp; but feel free to send me a message to discuss other options. I'm mostly available during the weekends, Friday to Sunday.

I have adored all animals since I was a kid, growing up on a farm I cared for horses, cows, Chickens, pigs, goats and many dogs. As I got older the connection I felt to animals grew stronger and I found myself dreaming about caring for them on a regular basis.&nbsp;In 2018 I worked with Rescue Paws Thailand for 7 months to help control the population of stray dogs, I couldn't be more grateful for this experience as this is where I met my bestfriend Chazzy, (my dog) who is a special part of our family now.Today I have 4 animals of my own, two doggos, a bunny and a snake. I have experience working in a professional daycare environment, as well as home-based which is what I offer full-time. I have 22 Years experience working and loving animals of all breeds, I believe animals are family, and I intend to treat yours just like my own.I am home full time mon-friday, with the acception of leaving the house for 1-2 hours Max and I can board on weekends if we discuss ahead of time.I do not allow any animals during their phase of heat I'm sorry.We offer a cozy sleeping area for all guests filled with blankets and soft beds, although some may choose to sleep where they want.Bathroom breaks ( and play time ) will happen in our large fenced in yard where there will be puppy pool pawties in the summer as well. I offer mental stimulation with games and tunnels, and physical stimulation with daily walks and special adventures to the park.I offer Bath &amp; Brushes, nail trims, playdates, and more!I can have 4 guests here at all times not including my own pets, and walks will be offered depended on availability.&nbsp;I live with my fiance and 3 other fur babies. My fiance works outside the house full-time but also helps me with animal care on weekends
