"Professional and reliable are 2 words that come to mind when describing Merit. Like most pet parents, we were concerned, maybe even a bit nervous about using a cat sitting service and leaving your loved pets (ours being fabulous cats) in the care of a stranger. However, after meeting Merit and spending time with her, those feelings were put to rest.
I can't emphasize enough how wonderful it was to receive her daily updates with lots of kitty cat photos of our family. This small gesture allowed us to enjoy our time away with peace of mind.
Upon our return it was very evident that our cats were well taken care of, and apparent that our kitty cat family received their regularly scheduled feeding times, had clean litter boxes and enjoyed lots of attention, snuggles and play time while we were away.

"Liz, is the best cat sitter anyone could ask for. We have used her services several times over the past year to care for our senior cat Lewis. Her knowledge, kindness and friendly demeanor are top notch. Lew is a shy cat and Liz’s calm nature brings his personality out immediately. "Nazyrha was amazing! This was my first time using pawshake so I was naturally a bit nervous about it, however I was quickly put at ease with the wonderful service and care that was provided by her. She sent multiple photos and videos in order to keep me in the loop as far as visits with my dog. She also went the extra mile and even offered additional services that were of great help. My dog Bronson was in great hands for the entire time I was away.
I will definitely be contacting her next time I am in need of dog care, and I would recommend her assistance to anyone who wants to have a reliable, safe, and happy environment for their pet when away."

"We recently hired Zoei to take care of our cat while we were out on vacation. I was very impressed with her services. She was highly professional, reliable, and took great care of my cat. She followed all the instructions and even went above and beyond to make sure our cat was comfortable and happy. "Angeli did a wonderful job taking care of our Bengals (who require a lot of attention!) She was friendly, responsible, and went above and beyond to make sure our cats were happy and well-cared for. "Sonia was the first cat sitter I've ever contacted to take care of my young and shy cat. I was super nervous to leave the cat for the first time for almost a week but Sonia made the experience so smooth! She is experienced, very responsible, punctual, organized, and kind to animals. My skittish cat went from hiding from Sonia (as she does with all strangers) to trusting and even playing a little! Sonia provided me with daily updates (plus photos) and was responsive to all my questions. I really appreciate Sonia's service and couldn't dream of a better cat sitter! "It has been a pleasure connecting with Anita through Pawshake. At our first meeting, it was clear that Anita had a lot of knowledge and experience supporting and caring for animals - she was incredibly attentive in her introductions with my cats and did a thorough assessment of their needs with me to prepare for their care. Anita was very professional throughout the experience - prompt responses to my initial outreach, quick to come and meet my two cats, and connected daily while I was away with updates on their care. My cats are rescue animals and so they have a lot of special needs and cautiousness around others, and Anita was both confident to take on this care work, and managed to build strong relationship/rapport with my cats in a way that a lot of other cat sitters haven’t been able to. "Gabrielle made our cat the happiest while we were traveling! She is kind and our pet felt at ease with her at first sight.
She came to our home for visits and always shared updates about how it went and also sent photos so we saw our cat happily playing with her and her husband, who is also super kind and took great care of our pet.
We recommend Gabrielle and will for sure continue to hire her in the future to take care of our pets!
